Privacy policy
Last updated: 21 October 2026
This policy explains how siiswell.com (“we”, “us”) handles personal data on this website, and what happens with data when you run the siiswell software yourself. In short: this website does not use cookies, analytics or trackers, and we never receive the data your own siiswell installation stores.
1. This website
- No cookies, no analytics, no advertising. We do not set cookies, use tracking pixels, fingerprinting or third-party analytics. Fonts and images are served from this website itself.
- Server logs. The website is delivered by our hosting and content-delivery provider (Cloudflare). Like any web server, it processes technical data needed to deliver pages and protect the service — your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time — and may keep it briefly in security and operations logs. We use it only to run and secure the website.
- E-mail. If you write to hello@siiswell.com or license@siiswell.com, we use your address and message to answer you and keep the correspondence as long as needed for that purpose or as required by law.
2. The siiswell software you host
siiswell is self-hosted. When you run the server (in Docker or in your own Cloudflare account) and the client on your computers, the data stays in your installation: you are its controller, and we do not receive it. By design the software never reads or uploads prompts, code or file contents, never calls an AI model, and records only that an interaction happened, with counts and times. The client checks for updates only against your dashboard. Details: the README and SECURITY.md in the source repository.
3. Legal bases
Where data protection law such as the GDPR applies, we process website logs on the basis of our legitimate interest in running a secure website, and e-mail on the basis of answering your request.
4. Sharing
We do not sell or rent personal data. We share it only with service providers that host this website and our e-mail, under their data-processing terms, or when the law requires it. These providers may process data outside your country under appropriate safeguards.
5. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data, to object, and to complain to a data-protection authority. Write to hello@siiswell.com and we will answer within the time the law requires.
6. Children
This website and the software are meant for developers and professionals, not for children.
7. Changes
We will update this page when our practices change and show the date of the last update at the top.
